This makes the unmanaged switch ideal for fast file transfers and smooth media streaming.

  • Effortless Gigabit Networking for Home and SOHO

    The DGS-108 Switch offers an economical way for SOHO and small/medium businesses to quickly expand their network bandwidth with Gigabit Ethernet performance. Easy-to-access front-facing ports, each leverage two colored LED indicators allowing you to quickly distinguish link status and speed. Advanced Quality of Service (QoS)organizes and prioritizes time-sensitive and critical data for efficient transmission, which results insmooth media streaming and VoIP calling. Additionally, a Kensington Security Slot on the rear panel allowing users to securely fasten the unit to a table or desk.

  • IEEE 802.1p QoS

    QoS prioritizes network traffic so that time-sensitive data is delivered efficiently, even during bursts of high data traffic helping to ensure an optimal experience for data-intense activities.

  • Cable Diagnostics Function

    The D-Link Cable Diagnostics Function instantly notifies users of cable conditions through the LED display on the Switch front panel. Users can determine if the cable pin connections are correct, facilitating prompt network troubleshooting as required.

    Incorporating D-Link's Green Technology, the DGS-108 is outfitted with Energy-Efficient Ethernet (EEE) and rugged metal chassis, which reduces power consumption, reduces heat dissipation and extends the product’s overall life without sacrificing performance.
