WYSE 3040 THIN CLIENT

Quad-core performance on a budget

Equipped with twice the number of CPU cores, the Wyse 3040 is capable of supporting light multitasking and basic productivity. This cost-effective endpoint features hardened, optimized Wyse ThinLinux as well as virus-resistant Wyse ThinOS.

Remarkably compact, the Wyse 3040 is Dell's smallest and lightest thin client and comes with flexible mounting options for space constrained environments. It is also the most power efficient thin client, within its class. It consumes less than 4 watts of energy and is adept at offering many years of efficient, secure and high- performance service.

Flexible connectivity

The Wyse 3040 can connect to a variety of virtual desktop brokers including Citrix XenDesktop and XenApp, VMware Horizon, and Microsoft RDS right out of the box. It offers great multimedia capabilities, and essential protocol and peripheral support including optional PCoIP that enables connection to Amazon WorkSpaces (AWS). The Wyse 3040 includes a range of connectivity options including two DisplayPort interfaces, four USB ports, one of which is USB 3.1, as well as wired and wireless network connections.

Easy to manage, highly scalable

The Wyse 3040 thin client is highly manageable through Wyse Device Manager (WDM) and Wyse Management Suite. Administration easily scales from just a few to tens of thousands of thin clients.

With Wyse thin clients, customers get a complete services portfolio including Deployment Services, ProSupport and Accidental Damage Service, and end-to-end support throughout the product lifecycle.
