SIIG's DisplayPort to CAT5e Daisy Chain HD Extender Kit with RS-232 & IR - Repeater is designed to receive and extend DisplayPortTM signal from a transmitter to a display at greater distance using economical CAT5/6 cable. This repeater offers RS-232 communication and IR control to execute commands conveniently. And it enables cascade connection to allow for an extensive network of displays setup. Fully HD 1080p resolution is supported, no software or driver is required to install, and the built-in mounting mechanism makes integration convenient and tidy. It is a cost-effective DisplayPort to CAT5e extender solution to extend and broadcast high quality video and audio signal to the remote display(s) utilizing inexpensive network cable.
