General Information
Convert and Protect Serial Interfaces This compact USB-to-RS-232 opto-isolator enables you to connect an RS-232 serial device to a USB port while protecting equipment from voltage spikes, electrical noise, and ground loops. Ideal for industrial and mission-critical applications, it helps ensure reliable serial communications and safeguards connected devices from potentially damaging electrical disturbances. The opto-isolator requires no PCI or ISA slots and does not consume system IRQ resources. Simply connect it to an available USB port using an optional USB Type-A to Type-B cable, and Windows automatically recognizes and configures the device as an additional COM port for quick, hassle-free installation. |
