General Information

The Linktropy L5500-100M WAN Emulator is the 100 Mbps version of the Linktropy 5500 WAN emulator.

The Linktropy 5500 simulates bandwidth, latency, jitter, loss, congestion, and other network impairments to test application performance.

The Linktropy 5500 emulates terrestrial, wireless, satellite, internet and other wide area networks to test applications under a spectrum of real-world conditions. The product is configured through an intuitive, easy-to-use browser-based GUI, or through a command line interface for integration with test automation tools.

The Linktropy 5500 is a 1U-sized appliance, ideal for either desktop and rack-mount environment, and is available with either RJ45 or SFP ports for easy integration into any type of network.
