This small, but powerful docking station provides all the functionality necessary to turn the portable 12-inch MacBook into a solid desktop workstation. The myriad of additional ports, such as USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C, USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A, HDMI, and Ethernet, facilitate the connection of a large range of devices to your MacBook. The included Kensington Security Slot allows the use of a laptop lock to secure both the docking station and the MacBook. The LandingZone Docking Station for the 12-inch MacBook requires the connection of the MacBook USB-C Power Adapter or another USB Type-C power adapter to power the docking station and charge the MacBook. Only limited functionality will be available without the connection of a USB Type-C power adapter. Compatible with the 12-inch MacBook models released in Early 2015 and Early 2016. |
- Designed for MacBook Pro Model A1534 first released in Early 2015.
- Uses the MacBook USB-C Power Adapter to power the docking station and charge the MacBook. Just connect it to the Power Delivery port on the LandingZone.
- Locks your MacBook using its built-in Security Slot compatible with most Kensington laptop locks. The computer can be used open or closed while it's locked in the docking station.
- Provides a Gigabit Ethernet port without the need for an Apple adapter cable. LandingZone Gigabit Ethernet drivers support Windows and macOS for MacBook.
- Connect a monitor, hard drives, printer, smart phone, headphones, speakers, headsets, tablet, etc. with its built-in HDMI, Headphone port, and USB Hub with 2 USB 3.1 Type-C (Data Only/No Video), 2 USB 3.1 Type-A ports.
