General Information

This heavy duty surge protector features a metal enclosure for a durable power distribution solution. It is designed to be physically more robust than ordinary power strips with plastic housings.

This surge protector provides 540 joules of protection against power surges or voltage spikes, that could damage electronics and appliances. It is especially useful for sensitive equipment with microprocessors and circuit boards. It can protect against power surges that commonly affect households from external sources, such as indirect lightning strikes, grid switching, and power outages, or from internal sources, like from air conditioners, refrigerators, and washers and dryers switching on or off.
