The MegaRAID 9540-8i Tri-Mode Storage Adapter is a PCIe Gen 4.0 12Gb/s SAS/SATA/PCIe (NVMe) controller card that addresses these needs by delivering proven performance and RAID data protection for a range of critical applications.

The adapters' Tri-Mode SerDes technology negotiates between speeds and protocols to seamlessly to enable the operation of NVMe, SAS or SATA devices in a single drive bay getting the most performance and flexibility out of any drive protocol.
